HOW IT WORKS:
Sign up for The Expense Tracker.
This simple web-based registration should take less than 5 minutes.
- Go to www.TheExpenseTracker.com.
- Click the Sign-Up button on the left.
- Enter plan code NBET10.
- Enter your personal information in the secure form.
- Print out your confirmation from the “step 4” page in the signup process(this page will also be sent to your email address).
- Create your personal password and then enter your income after taxes.
- Follow instructions to auto-populate your spending plan, then customize as needed to reflect your personal situation.

Enter your expenses.
No other expense tracking software provides you with three quick and easy options to update your
budget on the fly—Choose website, text message or phone.
- Website: Go to www.TheExpenseTracker.com and click “Login”, enter your User ID (from your confirmation email) and password. Click “Add” next to a category and enter the amount and optional description.
- Text Message: Text the category number and amount spent to text@theexpensetracker.com.
- Phone: Call in to Expense Tracker to update for recent purchases by voice command and get
current amounts remaining in budget categories.

Analyze your spending.
Log into Expense Tracker online or check your daily e-mail to monitor those Expense Tracker
categories with the highest budgeted amount or the categories with negative remaining balances
(highlighted in red). Is your heaviest spending in groceries, gas, or entertainment? Go to benefit 2
